I. LOCAL GOVERNMENT PROJECT AGREEMENT FOR AN INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM:



Authorization is requested to enter into an agreement with the Georgia

Department of Transportation (GDOT) for an Intelligent Transportation System.

An agenda report and resolution are attached. (Delayed from January 17, 2006

Council Meeting).





II. STREET ACCEPTANCE - GLEN VALLEY DRIVE AND GARRET LAKE DRIVE:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Glen Valley Drive and that

portion of Garrett Lake Drive located in Orchard Phase Nine, Garrett Creek. The

Department of Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the

acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.





III. STREET ACCEPTANCE - WOODBRIAR LANE AND WOODBRIAR COURT:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Woodbriar Lane and Woodbriar

Court located in Section One, Woodbriar. The Department of Engineering has

inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map

and resolution are attached.

Provide nine (9) pickups to be used by the Landfill, Street Improvement, Street

Waste Collection Divisions.



4. W-Beam Steel Guardrail ? PQ No. 06-0002

Scope of PQ

Provide approximately 2,152 linear feet of 12 ft. 6 in. W-Beam steel guardrails

with splice nuts and bolts. The Fleet Management Division will use the

guardrails.

Scope of RFB

Provide three (3) Mid Size SUVs to be used by the Traffic Engineering and

Scope of RFB

Provide three (3) Crew Cab and Chassis for Dual Rear Wheel 1-Ton Truck to be

Scope of Bid

Provide batteries for portable radios (MTS2000, XTS1500, XTS2500 & XTS5000) to

be used by various departments of Columbus Consolidated Government. The

contract period will be for two years with the option to renew for three

additional twelve-month periods.



4. Youth Basketball Uniforms (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 06-0057

Scope of Bid

Provide youth basketball uniforms on an ?as needed? basis to the Columbus Parks

& Recreation Division. The contract period will be for two years with the

option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods.

1. Actuarial Services for Other Post Employment Benefits (OPEB) (Annual

Contract) ? RFB No. 06-0008

Scope of RFP

Provide Actuarial Services for ?Other Post Employment Benefits? (OPEB) plans.

OPEB refers to medical, dental, vision and other healthcare-related benefits

provided to terminated or retired employees and their dependents and

beneficiaries. The initial term of the contract will be for one year with the

option to renew for five additional twelve-month periods. The renewal will be

contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the contractor.
