MERITORIOUS RESOLUTIONS:



Have the staff to prepare a resolution honoring Ms. Ketia Swanier who

graduated from Columbus High School and this year will be graduating from the

University of Connecticut; and was a four-year member of the Connecticut

Basketball Team. On last week, she was drafted in the first round of the WNBA

Draft. (Request of Councilor Hunter)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:



PARKING MANAGEMENT:



Let?s go back and revisit the Parking Management and discuss it during a

Council Work Session and let?s talk through some restructuring options for that

Division, to revitalize the revenue stream. (Request of Councilor Allen)

EXPENSES:



Have the staff to provide an analysis of our major expenses for half a

year in order for us to get a picture of how our expenses are compared in major

categories. (Request of Councilor Anthony)

FUNDING PROVIDED TO CHAMBER:



Have the staff to get together with the Chamber of Commerce and let?s

schedule them to come before the Council in a Work Session to give a report on

the ? mill that we give to the Chamber of Commerce. Also, have them to break

down the revenue and ask them to give an accounting of exactly where the money

went. (Request of Councilor Henderson)

WEIGHT WATCHERS PROGRAM:



Have the staff to do some additional research and check with Weight

Watchers to see if there is some way that we can work out something with them

with respect to the cost of the program. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)

METABOLIC SYNDROME:



Have the staff to work on getting the results of the Metabolic Syndrome

Research and get that information from the Columbus Research Foundation.

EMPLOYEES APPRECIATION WEEK:



When we have the Employees Appreciation Week, let?s look at incorporating

some of these health screenings during that week. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem
