AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 8794 Veterans Parkway from RE1 (Residential Estate 1) zoning
district to PUD (Planned Unit Development) zoning district.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is
hereby amended by changing the following described property RE1 (Residential
Estate 1) zoning district to PUD (Planned Unit Development) zoning district:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in land Lot 266
in the 19th District of Muscogee County, Georgia, and being known and
designated as all of Tract 5 and part of Tract 6 of the Survey of the Property
of T.L. Reese, according to a map or plat of said survey recorded in the office
of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, in plat Book 1,
page 158, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin located on the southerly margin of Veterans Parkway at
the northwest corner of tract 4, survey of the property of TL Reese; running
thence north 62 degrees 25 minutes east along the said southerly margin of
Veterans Parkway 186 feet to an iron pin; continuing thence north 62 degrees 25
minutes east along the said southerly margin of Veterans Parkway 283 feet to an
iron pin; running thence south 43 degrees 23 minutes east 794.93 feet to an
iron pin; running thence south 07 degrees 29 minutes east 638.92 feet to an
iron pin; running thence south 88 degrees 00 minutes west 467.4 feet to an iron
pin; running thence north 27 degrees 35 minutes west 1,146.8 feet to the point
of beginning.
All that tract and parcel of land lying and being in the state of Georgia and
County of Muscogee, being part of land lot 266 in the 19th district of said
state and county, and being known and designated as all of tract two and part
of tract three and tract four of the property TL Reese, according to a map or
plat thereof recorded in plat book1, page 158, in the office Superior Court
Clerk.
The recommended condition on the ascribed property is the development shall
adhere to the characteristics of the site plan submitted on file REZN 7-10-4656.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
14th day of December, 2010; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the day of _____________, 2010 and adopted
at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
