A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO ERECT A WIRELESS
COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE ON THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 3703 UNIVERSITY AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Municipal Communications, LLC has applied for a Special Exception Use
to erect a 120-feet wireless communications facility for wireless
communications service on the property described above;
WHEREAS, new wireless communication facilities are permitted solely as a
Special Exception Use under the current GC (General Commercial) zoning
district;
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Commission has reviewed the request and
recommend approval and the Planning Department recommend approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria listed under Section 3.2.72 of the Unified Development
Ordinance has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to erect a 120-feet
monopole for wireless communication facility is approved for the property
located at 3703 University Avenue.

7th day of June, 2016, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
members of said Council.
