TO THE CITY ATTORNEY:
INTERNAL AUDITOR?S POSITION:
Have the staff to make sure that we are in-line with the Charter in the
provision that we are providing for this position for the appointment by the
Council and does that contravene in any way the Charter, and to provide us some
guidance in that area. Also, in the materials that we are provided, provide
anything relative to providing authority for that position. (Request of
Councilor Hunter)
Have the staff to make sure they look at everything and give a synopsis of
what we do have on the books. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)
Have the staff to prepare a chronology of this position. (Request of
Mayor Poydasheff) In the staff?s chronology, let?s make sure that it includes
the items that were discussed by the City Manager and Councilor Suber, in his
opinion, the breakdown and how this is supposed to flow. (Request of Councilor

MEMORANDUM FROM ACCG:
Have the staff to take a look at this memorandum from ACCG, regarding
Congress Sets Stage for Federal Court Intrusion into Local Zoning Decisions:
Prying Open the Floodgates of Litigation and determine what they mean about
Federal Court Intrusion; saying Federal Court can?t rule unless they are ruling
on a law. (Request of Mayor Poydasheff)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
BLYTHE STREET:
Have the staff to really look at the plans of the DOT design requirements
for the realignment of Blythe Street, as there may be a better plan that would
suit and fit the area a little better than what we are talking about and just
taking that road out. (Request of Councilor Davis)
SPEEDING ON 17th AVENUE:
Have the staff to get together with Traffic Engineer Ron Hamlett and see
what
can be done to alleviate a serious speeding problem in this area on 17th Avenue
behind St. Elmo School. (Request of Councilor McDaniel)

GRAFFITI:
Have the staff to have someone to look at the retaining wall on Hilton
Avenue at Edgewood Road where there is a lot of graffiti that shouldn?t be
there.

Have the staff to determine what Council Work Session is this item going
to be listed on. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

WOODBURN COURT:
Have the staff to bring something back to this Council as soon as possible
regarding the concerns of the citizens with the issue on Woodburn Court; and to
determine what they can do legally and what the City needs to do to resolve
this matter. (Request of Councilor Suber)
