Ms. Slater,
There is a budgetary matter that needs your immediate attention. I just
received February?s purchasing card transactions to review and it appears that
you will exceeded the amount of budgeted funds for your Office once we post the
purchasing card transactions for February. There was over $6,000 charged to the
Other Travel budget line for victim witness travel.
In light of this situation, I need you to appear before Council to request
additional FY2017 funding pursuant to Ordinance 13-39. I would like to place
you on the City Manager?s agenda for the April 25th Council Meeting. Will you
please advise if your office is not able to attend on April 25th?
