AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 506 23rd Street from RMF2 (Residential Multi Family 2) District to
RMF1 (Residential Multi Family 1) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is
hereby amended by changing 8th of an acre of the following described property
from RMF2 (Residential Multi Family 2) District to RMF1 (Residential Multi
Family 1) District:
All that parcel of land being known as Lot 1, Block "C", Replat of Clifton
Woods, lying in Land Lot 114, Coweta Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee County,
Georgia.
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situated, lying and being in the State of
Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being known and
distinguished as part of lot eighteen (18) of that certain subdivision of land
known as Phillips Subdivision of the Sorsby Place, and more particularly
described within the following meets and bounds, to with: Beginning on the
southern line of 23rd Street 60 feet east of the southeast corner of the
intersection of 23rd Street with Fifth Avenue, and from said beginning point
running east, along the southern line of 23rd street, 60 feet; thence running
south 91 1/3 feet; thence running west 60 feet; and thence running north 91 1/3
feet to the beginning point. This property has a street or mailing address
currently assigned by governmental authority of 506 23rd street, Columbus,
Georgia.
The above-described properties are being rezoned with the following conditions:
1. The property subject to rezoning shall meet the
following minimum lot size requirement of 5,500
square-feet.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
11th day of August, 2009; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the day of ___________, 2009 and
adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said
Council.
