O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 2nd Reading - Property located at 5256 Armour Road is proposed for
rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial)/ LMI (Light Manufacturing
Industrial) to GC (General Commercial) zoning district. (9-A-11-Gibson)
(Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is for a Tattoo, Piercing Studio and
Dentist Office. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommend approval. (Approved)
(2) 2nd Reading - Property located at 5610 & 5618 Dearborn Avenue proposed for
rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) to SFR3 (Single Family
Residential 3) zoning district. (11-A-11-Wade) (Councilor McDaniel) The
proposed use is for Single Family Residential. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommend approval. (As amended) (Approved as
Amended)
(3) 2nd Reading - Property located at 6931 and 6923 Forrest Road is proposed
for rezoning from SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) to SFR4 (Single Family
Residential 4) zoning district. (10-A-11-Biggers) (Councilor McDaniel) The
proposed use is for Single Family Residential. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommend approval. (Approved)
(4) 2nd Reading - An ordinance reclassifying a Sergeant position, Pay Grade 18
in the Muscogee County Sheriff?s Office to a Lieutenant position, Pay Grade 20;
and for other purposes. (Councilor McDaniel) (Approved)
(5) 1st Reading - Property located at 4205, 4211, 4217, 4223, 4303, 4311 and
4325 St. Francis Avenue is proposed for rezoning from SFR3 (Single Family
Residential 3)/RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) to RO (Residential Office)
zoning district. (13-A-11-Pound) (Councilor Allen) The proposed use is a
parking lot with access to St. Francis Avenue. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommend approval.
(6) 1st Reading - Property located at 2122 Manchester Expressway is proposed
for a condition amendment. (12-A-11-Pound) (Councilor Allen) The request is to
amend condition #2 of Ordinance 02-47, which states that no access shall be
permitted onto St. Francis Avenue. The Planning Advisory Commission and the
Planning Department recommend approval.
(7) 1st Reading - Property located at 6003 Veterans Parkway is proposed for
rezoning from GC (General Commercial) to RO (Residential Office) zoning
district. (14-A-11-Hayes) (Councilor Allen) The proposed use is residential
multi-family. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommend approval. (Amended)
(8) 1st Reading - An ordinance amending Section 2-11 of the Columbus Code so as
to provide that the Recorder?s Court Clerk shall be appointed by and removed by
the Columbus Council; placing supervision of the Recorder?s Court Clerk and
deputies under the Senior Recorder; and for other purposes. (Councilor Barnes)

R E S O L U T I O N S:
(9) Property located at 2027 Box Road is proposed for a special
exception use in a GC (General Commercial) zoning district. The proposed use is
for a Place of Worship on less than two acres. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommend approval. (Approved)
(10) Authorizing pension benefit effective May 1, 2011 for Officer Garry Wisham
who suffered extensive injuries on February 10, 2009. (Approved)
(11) Authorizing settlement of property damage claim of Mr. Insun Gordon.
