RESOLUTIONS:



Prepare a resolution commending Mr. Richard and Mrs. Dee Dee Stephens for

their work as Christian-based teen advisors. (Request of Councilor Suber)



Prepare a resolution for several of the school athletic programs that have

finished up and had some successful results: Columbus High Women?s Golf Team,

Brookstone Tennis Team, Columbus High Men?s Tennis Team, Columbus High Men?s

Soccer Team and the Columbus High Women?s Soccer Team. (Request of Councilor

Davis)

TRUCK TRAFFIC PROHIBITION ORDINANCE:



Have the staff to check Hawthorne Drive and Ramsey Road for the purpose of

bringing forth an ordinance prohibiting truck traffic. (Request of Councilor

Woodson)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:



TRUCK TRAFFIC PROHIBITION ORDINANCE:



Have the staff put up signs making reference to the two city ordinances

that prohibit commercial vehicles from traveling Ramsey Road and parking in

Rigdon Park. Also, have the staff follow up on the concerns regarding truck

traffic on Ramsey Road. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

HOPE VI PROJECT:



Have the staff to provide the information on where those funds are

budgeted, what projects are we taking away from to do this project and if they

could take the $211,000. and apply this to the Hope VI Project. (Request of

Councilor Turner Pugh)



Provide a copy of the commitment made on the record to the Housing

Authority regarding the Hope VI Project. (Request of Councilor Davis)

ROAD IMPROVEMENTS:



Have the staff to do some research to get a definitive response on just

how far the school system could go with their SPLOST in paying for road

improvements, specifically, the accel/decel lanes surrounding their schools.

CONCESSION STANDS:



Have the staff to revisit the contract for concession stands with Aramark,

once the time comes for the current term to expire. (Request of Councilor

Henderson)

PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY COUNCIL:



Have the staff schedule for the next work session the Public Safety

Advisory Commission members to come before this Council to voice their

concerns. (Request of Councilor Suber)
