RESOLUTION:
Send a copy of the resolution commending the six principals from the
Muscogee County School District to the chairperson of the School Board.

WYNNTON VILLAGE HISTORIC DISTRICT:
Have the staff to check to see if people had the opportunity to opt out of
the historic district designation. (Request of Councilor Suber)

BROWN AVENUE AND PEACOCK AVENUE PROJECTS:
Have the staff to provide any information that is available from the
Georgia Department of Transportation regarding the Brown Avenue straightening
and Peacock Avenue widening project and submit to the Council and the Board of
Historic & Architectural Review. (Request of Mayor Poydasheff)

ROAD GRADING:
Let?s have the staff check into the grading on the side of the road for
Wilder Drive, Higgs Drive and Park Drive. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

RESURFACING OF LAKE RUSHIN:
Have the staff to find out when Lake Rushin Drive is scheduled to be
resurfaced. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)
MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. BOULEVARD:
Have the staff to check on the road condition of Martin Luther King
Boulevard between 10th Avenue and Shepherd Drive where there are humps in the
road. Also, let?s look into the condition of the entire roadway of Martin
Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

RECREATION CENTERS:
Have the staff to scroll on CCG-TV the time of operation for the
recreation centers and senior citizen centers. Also, in particular the senior
citizens that do not have air conditioning should be encouraged to go to the
recreation centers. (Request of Mayor Poydasheff)

SOUTH COLUMBUS CONCERNED CITIZENS:
Have the staff to find out the prospective developer for the property off
of Victory Drive, because we want to make sure that the South Columbus
Concerned Citizens are made aware of what would be developed on that property.

PUBLIC SAFETY ADVISORY COMMISSION:
Have the staff to set up a meeting with the Public Safety Advisory
Commission or schedule this for the work session to determine if the commission
is vital or if it should be dissolved due to the fact that the commission has
no authority. (Request of Councilor Suber)
