A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION TO OPERATE A DAY CARE CENTER (TYPE
III) LOCATED AT 9100 WARM SPRINGS ROAD.
WHEREAS, Midland United Methodist Church has appropriately applied for a
Special Exception Use to operate a Day Care Center (Type III) on the subject
property;
WHEREAS, A Day Care Center (Type III) is permitted solely as a Special
Exception Use under the current RE1 (Residential Estate 1) zoning district;
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has reviewed the request and recommends
Approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 10.2.7.B of the Unified Development Ordinance
has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to allow the operation of a
Day Care Center (Type III) are granted for the properties located at 9100 Warm
Springs Road.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the
13th day of September, 2016, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative
vote of members of said Council.
