WHEREAS, Mr. Francis C. DeSimone, former employee with the Public Services
Department, died on July 31, 2010;
WHEREAS, Mr. DeSimone retired on August 1, 1997 after serving over 7 years with
the Public Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. DeSimone our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mr. DeSimone was an outstanding employee with the Public
Services Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Raymond Ledlow, former employee with the Columbus Fire and EMS
Department, died on August 1, 2010;
WHEREAS, Mr. Ledlow retired on January 1, 1982 after serving over 31 years with
the Columbus Fire and EMS Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Ledlow our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mr. Ledlow was an outstanding employee with the Columbus
Fire and EMS Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Department, died on August 10, 2010;
WHEREAS, Mr. Woomer retired on September 1, 1998 after serving 28 years with
the Columbus Fire and EMS Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Woomer our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mr. Woomer was an outstanding employee with the Columbus
Fire and EMS Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.
