AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY
ENACTING A NO PARKING ANYTIME, TOW-AWAY ZONE TO INCLUDE THE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY
ALONG THE NORTH AND SOUTH CURBS OF NORTH LAKE PARKWAY BEGINNING AT THE EAST
CURB OF VETERANS PARKWAY AND RUNNING EAST TO THE DEAD END OF NORTH LAKE
PARKWAY; AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS
INDICATING NO PARKING ANYTIME WITH SAID RESTRICTIONS; REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
SECTION I.
It shall be unlawful for any person to park or rank a vehicle along the
north or south curbs to include street right-of-way with violators being towed
away at owner expense for the following street segment:
North Lake Parkway beginning at the east curb of Veterans Parkway and
running east to the dead end of said street.
SECTION II.
That official traffic control signs be installed indicating the parking
restrictions described in Section I.
SECTION III.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia
held on the ____ day of _____, 2008; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the ____ day of ____, 2008 and adopted at said
meeting by the affirmative vote of _____ members of Council.
