An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 820 5th Avenue (parcel # 019-018-017) from GC (General Commercial)
Zoning District to RMF1 (Residential Multifamily 1) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department is hereby
amended by changing the aforementioned property from GC (General Commercial)
Zoning District to RMF1 (Residential Multifamily 1) Zoning District. Zoning
District:
All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the State of
Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being part of NORTH
ONE-HALF (1/2) of CITY LOT NUMBERED FIVE HUNDRED EIGHTY (580), beginning on the
east side of Fifth Avenue at a point three hundred forty-three feet and nine
inches (343?9?) south from the south line of Ninth Street, City of Columbus,
County of Muscogee; thence south a distance of thirty-seven (37?) feet along
the east side of Fifth Avenue; thence west a distance of one hundred forty nine
feet and seven inches (149? 7?); thence north a distance of thirty-seven (37?)
feet; and, thence east a distance of one hundred forty-nine feet and five
inches (149? 5?) to the point of beginning.

held on the 12th day of March, 2019; introduced a second time at a regular
