Response 01/27/06 I contacted Mr. Ramos and visited the site at 5526 Holland
Drive concerning the erosion along a drainage ditch that runs along the Western
boundary of his property. This is a small ditch approximately 12-18 inches
deep. Someone in the past has dug out an area along the ditch near his house
approximately 24-30 inches deep and 3-4 feet in diameter that is eroding. This
problem is not within the scope of work we do for storm water management. "The
banks of creeks and ditches are not stabilized to prevent erosion beyond 20
feet from the outfall of a pipe". I informed Mr. Ramos that we would not do
any work to stabilize the area in question.
Per Engineering --
1/27/06 This will be taken into consideration with the proposed development
across the street.
