I. ENTERPRISE ZONE - 1999C BOND AMENDMENT:



Authorization is requested of a resolution to allow for the use of

1999C Bond funds for any uses and purposes as set forth in the Enterprise Zone

II. METROPOLITAN MEDICAL RESPONSE SYSTEM GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved

accept a grant for $10,639.08 from the Columbus Health Department for a

Metropolitan Medical Response System Grant for equipment to outfit and retrofit

support vehicles deployed in support of the local Georgia Search and Rescue

Task Force 4A based in Columbus, Georgia. An agenda report and resolution are

III. LEARNING TOGETHER PARENTS AS TEACHERS PROGRAM GRANT ACCEPTANCE:



Authorization is requested to accept a grant of $ 10,000 from the C.C.

and Sarah T. Butler fund and a $5,000 grant from W.B. and Sue T. Turner Family

Fund for the Learning Together Parents as Teachers Program. An agenda report

IV. ACCEPTANCE OF DEED TO DETENTION POND:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to the 1.14

acre Detention Pond located in River Crest Subdivision. The Department of

Engineering has inspected this pond and recommends the acceptance. An agenda

V. SURPLUS PROPERTY - 2400 - 13TH STREET:



Authorization is requested to declare 8,411 square feet of property

located at 2400 13th Street, corner of 13th Street and Stark Avenue, as surplus

and transfer to the adjacent two property owners. An agenda report, resolution

VI. QUIT CLAIM DEED -- 748 AND 748a LAWYERS LANE:



Authorization is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Wynnton Hill

Baptist Church, Inc., for 0.0972 acres +/- alley located at the rear and side

of 2620 Buena Vista Road and 748 and 748A Lawyers Lane, adjacent to Wynnton

Hill Baptist Church, Inc., for an addition to their parking lot. An agenda

Scope of Bid

Sheriffs Department.

Scope of RFP

Provide concessionaire services at South Commons, Parks and Recreation

Department. Contract term shall be for two (2) years with the option to renew

for three additional twelve-month periods.



3. 4x4 Off Road Utility Vehicle ? RFB No. 08-0036

Scope of Bid

To provide one (1) 4x4 off road utility vehicle to be used at Pine Grove

Landfill by the Landfill Division of the Public Services Department.

Scope of RFP

Provide auditing services for Columbus Consolidated Government. The contract

period shall be for a period of five years beginning on May 1, 2008 and ending

April 30, 2013, subject to annual review and the annual availability of an

appropriation for audit services by Columbus Consolidated Government. The

contract term will include auditing services for the following fiscal years:

2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

Scope of Bid

The work consists of demolition, removal and disposal of existing structures

and features; grading, drainage, paving, walks, waterfront improvements and

tie-in to existing utilities; construction of a new marina building;

landscaping and irrigation improvements; new floating docks.



2. Field Marking Paint (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 08-0040

Scope of Bid

Provide approximately 76 cases of aerosol spray field marking paint and

5,000 gallons of field marking paint to the Park Services Division. The

contract term shall be for two (2) years, with the option to renew for three

(3) additional twelve-month periods.
