accept a $50,000 grant from the Georgia Department of Human Resources to
improve child health, school performance, family stability, family economic

Program/State Homeland Security Program for Explosive Device Response

Department of Homeland Security Fiscal Year 2008 Homeland Security Grant
Program/State Homeland Security Program for Explosive Device Response
Operations for the Columbus, Georgia Hazardous Devices Response Team. An

IV. FY 2008 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM FOR EXPLOSIVE CANINE RESPONSE
OPERATIONS- GRANT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,

Department of Homeland Security Fiscal Year 2008 Homeland Security Grant
Program/State Homeland Security Program for the Muscogee County Sheriff's
Office to purchase equipment for the Explosive Detection Canine Program. An

1. Warm Springs Bike Trail Phase II ? RFB No. 10-0001
Scope of RFB
Provide phase two construction of a proposed multi-use trail, known as the Warm
Springs Bike Trail ? Phase Two. The work primarily involves clearing,
grubbing, grading, and construction of a walkway at grade. The bidder is
required to be pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

1. Recreation Building Improvements ? RFB No. 10-0002
Scope of RFB
Provide building improvements at Pop Austin, Carver Park, Woodland/Haygood,
Britt David Park (retaining walls) and Skateboard Park (gazebo). Work for the
recreation building improvements consists of concrete, carpentry, thermal and
moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes, specialties, mechanical and
electrical.
The Britt David Park retaining walls work consists of the removal of
deteriorating wood timbers (railroad ties) and the construction of concrete and
concrete block (CMU) retaining walls at the Football Concession Building. The
Skateboard Park (gazebo) requires the construction of a prefabricated metal
structure over an existing concrete slab.

Scope of RFB
Provide one (1) mid-size SUV 4x4 for use by the Engineering Department.
