SUBJECT: Donation of Toro Utility Vehicle to Cooper Creek Tennis

Center



INITIATED BY: Park and Recreation





Recommendation: Approval is requested to accept a donation of a Toro Utility

Vehicle valued at $3500 for Cooper Creek Tennis Center.



Background: Columbus Regional Tennis Association (CORTA) has requested

to donate a Toro Utility Vehicle to Cooper Creek Tennis Center.



Analysis: CORTA has expressed a desire to donate the vehicle to Cooper Creek

Tennis Center to help in the maintenance and upkeep of the tennis center

complex.



Financial Considerations: This will be at no cost to the City as it is a

private donation.



Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement: None expected



Legal Considerations: Council must approve the acceptance of this donation.



Recommendations/ Actions: Approve the donation of a Toro Utility Vehicle for

Cooper Creek Tennis Center.







A RESOLUTION

NO. _____

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO APPROVE AND ACCEPT THE DONATION OF A TORO

UTILITY VEHICLE VALUED AT $3500.00 FROM COLUMBUS REGIONAL TENNIS ASSOCIATION

FOR COOPER CREEK TENNIS CENTER.



WHEREAS, Columbus Regional Tennis Association (CORTA) desires to donate a Toro

Utility Vehicle valued at $3500 to Cooper Creek Tennis Center; and,



WHEREAS, the Toro Utility Vehicle will be used for upkeep and maintenance of

Cooper Creek Tennis Center; and,



WHEREAS, CORTA will donate this vehicle and will be of no cost to the

City.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to accept the

donation of a Toro Utility Vehicle for use at Cooper Creek Tennis Center.
