AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 2126, 2200, 2206, 2210 and 2214 Buena Vista Road from NC

(Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning

District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the

same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property from NC

(Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning

District:



All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the State of

Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being known and

designated as Parts of Lots Numbered Thirty-Four (34) and Thirty-Five (35) in

Block Lettered "G", of Britt Addition or Subdivision, a map or plat of said

Addition or Subdivision being recorded in Deed Book 44, Folio 300, and a re-

photograph thereof being recorded in Plat Book 5, Folio 125, in the office of

the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, said tract or

parcel of land hereby conveyed being more particularly shown on a map or plat

entitled ''Survey of Part of Lots 34, 35, 36, 37, 38 & 39, Britt Addition,

Lying in Land Lot 78, Coweta Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia",

dated March 21, 2005, made by Hobbs Smith & Associates, Inc., Civil

Engineers-Land Surveyors, and being recorded in Plat Book 154, Folio 53, in the

Office of the aforementioned Clerk, to which reference is made for a more

specific location and dimensions of said parcels.



The above-described property is being rezoned subject to the following

condition:



1. Billboards shall not be allowed on this property.



2. The property subject to rezoning shall be limited to general retail use

located within a structure which shall not exceed 11,000 square feet.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia

held on the 12th day of August, 2014; introduced a second time at a regular

meeting of said Council held on the ____ day of ___________, 2014 and

adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said

Council.
