ORDINANCE

An ordinance amending Chapter 3 of the Columbus Code so as to allow
renewal of expired identification card (ABC card) if the only disqualifying
violation of applicant is failure to possess current ABC card within a
twelve-month period prior to application for renewal; and for other purposes.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Section 3-7 of the Columbus Code is hereby amended by adding a new
subsection (g) to read as follows:
?(g) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Chapter, renewal of an
expired identification card (ABC card) shall be permitted if the only
disqualifying violation of the applicant is failure to possess a current ABC
card within a 12-month period prior to application for renewal.?
SECTION 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
