AN ORDINANCE
NO.
WHEREAS, the Columbus Board of Health conducts the inspections and permitting
of Food Service, Tourist Accommodations, Swimming Pools/Spas, Private Water
Supplies, Body Art, On-Site Sewage Management/Land Use and other various
health-related activities;
WHEREAS, the Columbus Board of Health recently voted to seek increases to
various inspection and permit fees;
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting held March 24, 2010 the Columbus Board of
Health adopted the attached Resolution and Columbus Health Department
Environmental Health Fees 2010;
WHEREAS, this Council desires to amend Chapter 13 of the Columbus Code so as to
adopt and incorporate the Columbus Health Department (CHD) Environmental Health
Fees 2010, as shown below, to be effective July 1, 2010.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
Section 1.
Chapter 13 of the Columbus Code is hereby amended by adding the
following section:
?The following Columbus Health Department Environmental Health Fees are hereby
adopted.
Section 2.
This Ordinance and fees adopted herein shall be effective July 1, 2010.
Section 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
