TO THE CITY MANAGER:
STATUTE HONORING FALLEN SOLDIERS:
Have the staff to check into constructing a memorial to honor the fallen
soldiers, those men and women that have given their lives during the most
recent years. (Request of Councilor Davis)

STREETS RESURFACED:
Have the staff to check to see if anyone has called in to report that 11th
Street and 5th Avenue needs to be repaved, if not let?s make sure it is on the
list. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

TRAFFIC REPORT:
Let?s check with staff to see if there is a cost for citizens to view the
traffic reports. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

TRAFFIC SIGNALS:
Have the staff to schedule Mr. Jim Pound on the work session agenda to
make his presentation on the cost for new traffic signals in the downtown
area. (Request of Councilor Henderson)

APARTMENT BUILDINGS:
Have the staff to provide a report on the number of apartment buildings
that have been constructed in North Columbus versus the number of apartment
buildings that have been constructed in Columbus South. (Request of Councilor
Woodson)

BAKER VILLAGE PROPERTY:
Have the staff to check with the Housing Apartment about their plans for
redevelopment of the Baker Village property, because there have been rumors of
a Veterans Administration Hospital and/or a Wal-Mart. (Request of Councilor
Woodson)

CORONER?S OFFICE:
Have the staff to check to see if the employees in the Coroner?s Office
are already under the merit system. (Request of Councilor McDaniel)
