I. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION - BUENA VISTA ROAD SPIDERWEB:



Authorization is requested to enter into an agreement with the Georgia

Department of Transportation (GDOT) for Transportation Investment Act funding

for redevelopment and redesign of the Buena Vista Road Spiderweb. An agenda

II. DISC GOLF COURSE AT DINGLEWOOD PARK:



Authorization is requested to accept a donation from MidTown, Inc., for

installation of a nine-hole disc golf course in Dinglewood Park. An agenda

III. ROTARY CLUBS OF COLUMBUS DONATION FOR ROTARY PARK:



Authorization is requested to accept a donation for approximately

$10,500 from the Rotary Clubs on Columbus, Georgia to enhance amenities at

IV. HOPEY'S HEART FOUNDATION DONATION:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved

accept a donation of a defibrillator valued at approximately $1,255 given by

Hopey's Heart Foundation. An agenda report and resolution are attached. Click

V. STREET ACCEPTANCE -- PORTION OF WELLINGTON TRACE LOCATED IN PHASE THREE,

WELLINGTON POINTE:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to that portion

of Wellington Trace located in Phase Three, Wellington Pointe. The Engineering

Department has inspected said street and recommends the acceptance. An agenda

1. Veterans Parkway and Double Churches Road Intersection Improvements ? RFB

No. 15-0002

Scope of Bid

Provide improvements to the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Double

Churches Road. The work includes but is not limited to: grading, resurfacing,

pavement marking, storm drain pipes, median, curbs & gutters, sidewalks &

wheelchair ramps, landscaping & erosion control, and traffic lighting & signs.

1. Railroad Demolition and Salvage ? RFP No. 15-0009

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is soliciting competitive sealed

proposals from experienced, qualified firms to provide all necessary services

to take up, remove and dispose of (including salvage and sale) railroad track

materials located on and to restore land owned by the City of Columbus. This

land is located on the rail line and associated real property known as the Fort

Benning Railroad line. This land (hereinafter referred to as the ?Real

Property? or the ?Land?), is more particularly shown on Attachment A, attached

hereto.



2. Soft Body Armor (Annual Contract ? RFB No. 15-0008

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government is requesting proposals from qualified

vendors to provide soft body armor for Public Safety Officers to include:

Police, Marshal and Sheriff Departments of the Columbus Consolidated Government

on an ?as needed basis?. The contract period will be for two (2) year with the

option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods.



September 3, 2014

1. Metro Police Building ? RFB No. 15-0003

Scope of Bid

Renovate the Metro Police Building located at 525 10th Avenue. The work

consists of: roofing, fencing, pipe bollards, exterior security bars, new

doors and hardware, restrooms, drywall, mechanical ventilation system and

battery-operated emergency lights.

1. Cable Television Service (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 15-0010

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government is soliciting proposals from qualified

companies to provide Basic Cable Television Service, to include the local

Columbus Government access channel, for City buildings and annexes as indicated

in this solicitation.



2. 25-Yd Refuse Truck Rental (Annual Contract ? RFB No. 15-0011

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is soliciting proposals from

qualified companies to provide two (2) Diesel Powered 25-Cubic-Yd Refuse

Trucks, equipped with Mechanized Loading Device, Side and/or Rear Loader, for

lease with the option to purchase.



September 10, 2014

1. Fire Station No. 9 ? RFB No. 15-0004

Scope of Bid

Construct a three-bay fire station. The work includes all civil, paving,

landscaping, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. The City will only accept

bids from contractors that were pre-qualified via RFQ No. 14-0001.



2. Riverwalk Project-14th Street Plaza ? RFB No. 15-0006

Scope of Bid

Provide construction of the proposed Riverwalk Plaza located on 14th Street

between Broadway and the 14th Street Bridge in Columbus, Georgia. The work

primarily involves demolition of existing street pavement and concrete curb and

gutters and construction of a vehicular and pedestrian friendly Plaza area at

grade with landscaping and site furnishings.



The governing specifications for this project, including such items as bidding

requirements, general conditions, technical specifications and related items,

shall be in accordance with the State of Georgia, Department of

Transportation-Standard Specifications, Construction of Transportation Systems

and Supplemental Specifications, 2001 Edition or as amended.



November 26, 2014

1. Redevelopment Plan for Claflin School ? RFP No. 14-0002

Scope of RFP

The City of Columbus is requesting proposals from experienced, creative

architects, building and real estate development firms OR a philanthropic

individual or nonprofit group to present a redevelopment plan for adaptive

reuse of the Claflin School building that will be consistent with applicable

deed restrictions and preserve the historic site.
