AN ORDINANCE

An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 1500, 1502, and 1512 Dixon Drive and 1507 Wells Drive from SFR2
(Single Family Residential 2) and RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2) Districts
to RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from SFR2 (Single Family
Residential 2) and RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2) Districts to RMF2
(Residential Multi-Family 2) District:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,
Muscogee County, Georgia, being known and designated as PARCEL 18A in PART OF
LOT 11, BLOCK ONE (1), WILDWOOD CIRCLE, as said lot is shown upon a plat ?RIGHT-
OF-WAY ACQUISITION SURVEY, Georgia S.R. 22 (Macon Road)?, dated October 2,
1972, made by Moon, Meeks & Patrick, Inc., and recorded in Plat Book 71, Folio
19, in the Office of the Superior Court Clerk of Muscogee County, Georgia, to
which reference is made for the particular location and dimensions of said
lot.
And
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,
Muscogee County, Georgia, being known and designated as ALL OF LOTS NUMBERED
NINE (9) and TEN (10) in BLOCK NUMBERED ONE (1), WILDWOOD CIRCLE, as said lot
is shown upon a Revised Map of Wildwood Circle dated June 10, 1925, made by
Hugh McMath, Civil Engineer, and recorded in Deed Book 62, Page 289, a
re-drawing thereof being recorded in Plat Book 35, Folio 19, both in the Office
of the Superior Court Clerk of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which reference is
made for the particular location and dimensions of said lot.
And
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,
Muscogee County, Georgia, being known and designated as Lot 17, Block ?C?, as
said lot is shown upon a plat of WYNNTON GROVE, PROPERTY OF A. G. WELLS, LYING
IN LAND LOTS 93 & 94, COWETA RESERVE, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA, dated September
25, 1941, made by T. L. Moss, Jr., Civil Engineer, and recorded in Plat Book 2,
Folio 24, in the Office of the Superior Court Clerk of Muscogee County,
Georgia, to which reference is made for the particular location and dimensions
of said lot.
The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:
1. The development shall be limited to thirty-two
(32)
apartment units.
2. No curb cut shall be permitted on Wells Drive.
3. The development of all property subject to rezoning shall
meet the standards of the adjacent historic district.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia
held on the 11th day of December, 2007; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the day of ___________, 2007 and adopted
at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
