I. WHITTLESEY ROAD CONDEMNATION:



Authorization is requested for the acquisition of Parcel 15, 1821 Whittlesey

Road for the Whittlesey Road Widening Project totaling 0.179 +/- acres for a

Temporary Construction Easement for County Road and/or Municipal Street

purposes, and authorizing the filing of a Declaration of Taking by the City

Attorney or his representatives for the acquisition of said land under the

authority of the official code of Georgia annotated, Section 32-3-1 et.seq for

the Whittlesey Road Widening Project. An agenda report, map and resolution are

attached.

II. NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM 3 (NSP3):



Authorization is requested for the filing of a substantial amendment to the

FY2010 Annual Action Plan for Entitlement Funding under the Neighborhood

Stabilization Program 3 (NSP3) from the Department of Housing and Urban

Development and accept an entitlement award of $1,128,174. An agenda report

and resolution are attached. (Approved)





III. GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES (2011 SYSTEM OF CARE:

COMMUNITY STRATEGY GRANT PROGRAM) - LEARNING TOGETHER PARENTS AS TEACHERS

PROGRAM GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a

$41,452.50 Learning Together Parents as Teachers Program Grant from the

Governor's Office for Children and Families (2011 System of care: Community

Strategy Grant Program). An agenda report and resolution are attached.

IV. STREET ACCEPTANCE - PORTION OF SORREL DRIVE AND TOWNES WAY LOCATED IN

SECTION ONE, THE TOWNES AT SONOMA POINTE:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to a portion of Sorrel

Drive and Townes Way located in Section One, The Townes at Sonoma Pointe. The

Department of Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the

acceptance. An agenda report, resolution and map are attached.

Scope of Bid

Provide one (1) flatbed dump truck to be used by the Rainwater Division of the

Public Services Department.



2. Roof Replacement at Muscogee Count Prison ? RFB No. 11-0048

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled at 11:00 AM (Eastern) on

Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Vendors shall convene in the Conference Room of

Muscogee County Prison, which is located at 7175 Sacerdote Lane, Columbus, GA

31907. Vendors will be allowed a 10-minute grace period. Any vendor who is

not present in the Conference Room within the 10-minute grace period shall not

be allowed to participate any further in the bid process.



March 4, 2011

1. Mobile Career Resource Assessment Unit ? RFP No. 11-0018

Scope of Bid

The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is requesting proposals from

qualified vendors to provide at least one (1) Mobile Career Resource Assessment

Unit with the option to purchase additional Mobile Career Resource Assessment

Unit(s) within 12 months following award of the contract. Mobile Career

Resource Assessment Unit shall meet the requirements of the Sections II through

III. The cost proposal of the successful vendor shall remain in effect for 1

year following the issuance of the contract.

1. Hubbard Road Bridge Rehabilitation ? RFB No. 11-0043

Scope of Bid

The work shall consist of the rehabilitating an existing single span bridge,

located on Hubbard Road, all in accordance with the designated plans and

specifications.



2. Asphalt Removal, Seeding & Landscaping Project ? Columbus Main Library Site

? RFB No. 11-0042

Scope of Bid

The work includes, but is not limited to: Demolition, Storm Drainage System,

Sanitary Sewer System, Earthwork, Erosion & Sedimentation Control, Concrete

Flatwork, Permanent Site Grassing & Stabilization, Tree Planting, and

miscellaneous items.

3. Athletic Uniforms (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 11-0046

Scope of Bid

Provide athletic uniforms to include basketball & boxing uniforms on an ?as

needed? basis to the Columbus Parks and Recreation Division. The term of the

contract will be for two (2) years with option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve-month periods.



March 16, 2011

1. Roof Replacement at Muscogee County Prison ? RFB No. 11-0048

Scope of Bid

Provide all labor, equipment and materials to install a new SBS modified

bitumen roof system at the Muscogee County Prison, which is located at 7175

Sacerdote Lane, Columbus GA. Written requests for approval of any materials

submitted on this project as "Equals or Substitutes" for the specified material

must be submitted prior to or at the March 2, 2011 mandatory pre-bid

conference/site visit.
