RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Georgia Coroner?s Association and the Georgia Emergency Management
Agency (GEMA) desire to enter into a mutual aid agreement;
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia is currently a party to various mutual aid
agreements with other local governments and GEMA;
WHEREAS, the Muscogee County Coroner has requested authorization for the Mayor
to execute such a mutual aid agreement involving Columbus, Georgia, GEMA and
the Georgia Coroner?s Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby authorize the Mayor of Columbus, Georgia and Muscogee County
Coroner to execute a mutual aid agreement which includes participation by GEMA
and the Georgia Coroner?s Association.
