AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY ESTABLISHING
RANKED PARKING ALONG THE SOUTH CURB OF 11TH STREET BETWEEN 6TH AVENUE AND 7TH
AVENUE AND A LOADING ZONE ALONG THE SOUTH CURB OF THE SAME BLOCK; AUTHORIZING
THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS INDICATING THE RANKED
PARKING AND LOADING ZONES; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
Ranked parking with a two-hour time limit shall be established along the South
curb of 11th Street beginning 42 feet from the East curb of 6th Avenue and
running easterly for 48 feet, beginning 115 feet from the East curb of 6th
Avenue and running easterly for 90 feet, and beginning 241 feet from the East
curb of 6th Avenue and running easterly for 36 feet.
A Loading Zone with a 15-minute time limit shall be established along the South
curb of 11th Street beginning 90 feet from the East curb of 6th Avenue and
running easterly for 25 feet.
SECTION II.
That official traffic control signs shall be installed to indicate the
ranked parking and loading zone restrictions described within Section I.
SECTION III.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
