CITY MANAGER'S AGENDA

I. GEORGIA'S NEW STATEWIDE UNIFIED BRAND GRANT PROPOSAL:



Approval is requested to accept grant funds set aside for Lower

Chattahoochee Workforce Development Area Fourteen (LCWDA-14) in the amount of

$13,320.00 with no match requirement, awarded through Georgia Department of

Economic Development Workforce Division to implement the new statewide unified

brand and to authorize the City Manager to approve any

contract(s)/documentation on behalf of the City; authorize purchases for the

mobile unit wrapping; Pull-up Banner and Stand; Table Cover(s); and the

printing of Brochures, Letterhead, Business Cards, and Envelopes; and the PMS

Ink for the CCG Print Shop to print these items and to amend the WIOA

Department /Job Training Division fund (0220) by the applicable amount.





II. FACTORY GLOBAL FIRE PREVENTION GRANT:



Approval is requested to accept grant funds in the amount of $4,655.00, with no

local match, from Factory Mutual Insurance Company for the purchase of Fire

Prevention Education Materials and to amend the appropriate budget by the

amount awarded.





III. ADULT FELONY DRUG COURT:



Approval is requested to submit an application, and if approved, accept

$500,000 from the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration

(SAMHSA) for the operation of the First Responder Naloxone Program, from

October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2021 and to amend the Multi-governmental Fund

by $500,000.00. The City is not required to provide a cash or In Kind matching

funds to participate in this grant program.





IV. PURCHASES:



Approval is requested of items "A" thru "H":



A. Wynnton Road Streetscapes Phase I (Re-Bid)

B. Melrose Drive and Decatur Street Bridge Replacements

C. State Mandated Annual Workers' Compensation Fees

D. Maintenance of the Video Visitation System, Judicial Arraignment System and

Security Equipment

E. Engine Repairs for Metra Transit Buses

F. Telephone System Upgrade

G. Consulting Services for Computer Network Cable Television (IPTV) Solutions

H. Payment for Inmate Pharmacy Services
