Commissioners Present: Scott Ressmeyer, Chair, Bruce Smith, Treasurer, Bill

Webster, Secretary,

Colin Martin, Veola Hymes, and Brian Plemmons.



Commissioners Absent: H.S. Guron, Vice Chair, Lee Brantley, and Susan

Lawhorne, Past Chair.



Ex-Officio Members Present: Larry Campbell, Cyndy Cerbin, Janice Davis, Judy

Thomas, and

Mayor Jim Wetherington.



Ex-Officio Members Absent: Richard Bishop, Mike Gaymon, Dale Hester, Isaiah

Hugley, Enoch Morris, and Burnie Quick.



Special Guests Present: Tom Butler, Columbus Museum, Ed Helton and Carmen

Cavezza with the Cunningham Center for Leadership Development.



Staff Present: Peter Bowden and Linda Olvera.



Call to Order-Scott Ressmeyer called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. The

meeting was held at the Cunningham Center for Leadership Development.



Approval of Minutes-Bill Webster made a motion to accept the January 2007 Board

meeting minutes. Brian Plemmons made the motion, seconded by Veola Hymes. A

vote

taken and the motion passed.



Treasurer?s Report-Bruce Smith presented the January 2007 financials for

approval. Veola Hymes made a motion to accept the financials as read. Bill

Webster seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed.



FY 2006 Audit Report-Scott Ressmeyer called for a motion to approve the audit

report. Veola Hymes made a motion to accept and Bruce Smith seconded the

motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed.



Chairman?s Report-Scott Ressmeyer presented the FY 2008 budget for review and

approval by the Board members. Bruce Smith made a motion to approve the budget

as presented. Veola Hymes seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the

motion passed.



V. Scottt Ressmeyer adjourned the meeting at 8:45 to begin the

workshop.
