WHEREAS, Arnold Goodman has served with distinction on the Columbus Recreation
Advisory Board;
WHEREAS, Mr. Goodman has served the citizens of Columbus on this important
Board since 2007;
WHEREAS, Mr. Goodman is a graduate of the ASA National Umpire School in
Oklahoma and has been an ASA Official for 17 years;
WHEREAS, he is also owner of Good Cruises n Travel Agency, a member of the
Knights of Columbus and has served as a Parish Council Member for the Catholic
Diocese of Savannah and is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Columbus;
WHEREAS, he has been married to his wife Lindy for over 37 years.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby commend and express our deep appreciation to Mr. Arnold Goodman for
his many years of his faithful service on the Columbus Recreation Advisory
Board. Columbus is proud of his accomplishments and we wish him every success
in the future. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Arnold
Goodman.
