O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing for the demolition of structures; and
for other purposes. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh)
(2) 2nd Reading - REZN-04-18-0637: An ordinance rezoning approximately 9.30
acres located at 3812 Cusseta Road (Parcel #064-029-001). The current zoning
is GC (General Commercial) zoning district. The proposed zoning is LMI (Light
Manufacturing / Industrial) zoning district. The proposed use is warehouse and
distribution. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommend approval. Applicant: John Anker (Councilor Huff)
(3) 2nd Reading ? An Ordinance adopting an Operating and Capital Improvement
Budgets for the Fiscal Year 2019 beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30,
2019, for certain funds of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia,
and appropriating the amounts shown in each budget; and for other purposes.

(4) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance adopting Non-Operating Budgets for the Fiscal
Year 2019 beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2019, for certain funds of
the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, and appropriating the amounts
shown in each budget; and for other purposes. (Budget Review Committee)
(5) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance amending Article VII of Chapter 13 of the
Columbus Code Solid Waste Collection and Disposal by changing the monthly
residential garbage fee and updating the guidelines for an offset to the
residential rate for low-income households; and for other purposes. (Budget

(6) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance amending Section 8-14 of the Columbus Code to
revise the fee for the issuance of any certificate of occupancy permit; and for

(7) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing for contributions to the Columbus,
Georgia General Government Employee's Pension Plan for the Fiscal Year
beginning July 1, 2018 and ending June 30, 2019 . (Budget Review Committee)
(8) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing for contributions to the Columbus,
Georgia Pension Plan for Employees of the Department of Public Safety for the

Disability Income Plan for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2018 and ending

(11) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance revising Columbus Code Sections 16B-15-5(a)(7)
Annual Leave (vacation), and 16B-15-6(a)(4) Sick Leave to provide that such
leave may be taken in minimum increments of fifteen (15) minutes. (Budget

(12) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance amending Article VI of Chapter 13 of the
Columbus Code to revise definitions and enforcement mechanisms; to regulate
stockpiled materials; and for other purposes.) (Councilor Garrett and Councilor

(13) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance authorizing a referendum to occur in Columbus,
Georgia at the general election on November 6, 2018 that would authorize the
sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on Sundays between the hours of
11:00 am and 12:30 pm on the premises of any licensed establishment which
derives at least 50 percent of its total annual gross sales from the sale of
prepared meals or food; and for other purposes. (Councilor Garrett)
(14) 2nd Reading - An ordinance amending the membership provisions for the
Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee; and for other purposes. (Mayor Pro-Tem

(15) 2nd Reading - An ordinance amending the membership provisions for the
Columbus Aquatics Commission; and for other purposes. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh)
(16) 1st Reading - An Ordinance providing for the establishment of taxing
districts, including a county-wide general services district and three (3)
urban services districts and three (3) Business Improvement Districts (BID);
providing for the levy, assessment, and collection of taxes for Columbus,
Georgia within such districts for the year 2018 as provided under the Charter
of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; providing penalties for
violations of the provisions of said ordinance; and for other purposes.
