WHEREAS, Mr. Stewart E. Werner, former employee with the Muscogee County Prison
died on January 4, 2006;
WHEREAS, Mr. Werner retired on November 30, 1987 after serving 11 years with
the Muscogee County Prison.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Stewart E. Werner our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mr. Werner was an outstanding employee with the Muscogee
County Prison and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Sylvester Goodman, former employee with the Columbus Water Works
died on January 18, 2006;
WHEREAS, Mr. Goodman retired on June 30, 2001 after serving 34 years with the
Columbus Water Works.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Sylvester Goodman our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mr. Goodman was an outstanding employee with the
Columbus Water Works and he will be missed by all who knew him.
