I. COOPER CREEK TENNIS CENTER DONATION:



Authorization is requested to accept a $4,000 donation from an

anonymous donor for the Cooper Creek Tennis Center to be used for items,

supplies or equipment needed at the Tennis Center. An agenda report and

II. QUIT CLAIM DEED - ALGONQUIN DRIVE FROM MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT:



Authorization is requested to accept a Quit Claim Deed from the

Muscogee County School District for a portion of Algonquin Drive for conveyance

to the Board of Regent for part of Columbus State University Campus. This

action is to complete terms of the Memorandum of Understanding approved by

Council in Resolution #172-09. An agenda report, resolution, maps and deeds

III. CONCURRENT JURISDICTION AT NATIONAL INFANTRY MUSEUM:



Authorization is requested to execute a Memorandum of Agreement with

the Federal Government providing for concurrent jurisdiction at the National

Infantry Museum that will provide additional pubic safety to be available for

response to emergencies at the National Infantry Museum. An agenda report,

IV. QUIT CLAIM DEEDS OF CITY PROPERTY TO GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION:



Authorization is requested to execute a Department of Transportation

Option for Right of Way" to be able to execute a "Quit- Claim Deed" with the

Department of Transportation (GDOT) for property owned by the City on S.R.

982/Talbotton Road/ Warm Springs Road Widening from Hamilton Road to

Twenty-third Avenue in Muscogee County. An agenda report, resolution, deeds

V. NURSE-FAMILY PARTNERSHIP HOME VISITING PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,

accept a grant (with no local match) from the Governor's Office for Children

and Families for $490,743 and renew the Nurse-Family Partnership Implementation

Agreement with Nurse-Family Partnership. An agenda report and resolution are

VI. EARLY CHILDHOOD SYSTEM OF CARE AND HOME VISITING PROGRAM GRANT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,

accept $297,815, with no local match, from the Governor's Office for Children

and Families to fund parent education through evidenced based, home visitation

model strategy under Early Childhood System of Care. An agenda report and

VII. STREET ACCEPTANCE - RUFFIE WAY AND THAT PORTION OF KITTEN LAKE DRIVE:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Ruffie Way

and that portion of Kitten Lake Drive located in Kitten Lake (replat of Phase

One parcel 300). The Department of Engineering has inspected this street and

recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, resolution and map are attached.

VIII. STREET ACCEPTANCE - WISTERIA LANE AND THAT PORTION OF TRAILING IVY COURT

AND THAT PORTION OF MOUNTAIN IVY DRIVE:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of that portion of

Wisteria Lane, that portion of Trailing Ivy Court and that portion of Mountain

Ivy Drive located in Section One, Phase One North Ivy Park. The Department of

1. Schatulga Road / Corporate Ridge Parkway Roundabout ? RFB No. 14-0010

Scope of Bid

Construct a roundabout at the intersection of Schatulga Road and Corporate

Ridge Parkway. The work includes all drainage structures; concrete curb and

gutters; asphaltic concrete paving; and splitter islands. The work also

includes pavement markings, traffic signs, and landscaping.



2. 35-Foot Low Floor Transit Bus (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 14-0003

Scope of Bid

Seeking vendors to provide 35? Low Floor Transit Bus to METRA on an ?as needed

basis?. The City anticipates purchasing approximately 0-5 buses during Fiscal

Year 2014 through Fiscal Year 2019.



3. Hybrid Low Floor Electric Bus (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 14-0004

Scope of Bid

Seeking vendors to provide Hybrid Low Floor Electric Bus to METRA on an ?as

needed basis?. The City anticipates purchasing approximately 0-5 buses during

Fiscal Year 2014 through Fiscal Year 2019.

1. Redevelopment Plan for Claflin School ? RFP No. 14-0002

A Mandatory Site Visit is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13,

2013. Attendees shall convene at the entrance of the Claflin School building,

which is located at 1532 Fifth Avenue, Columbus GA.



September 18, 2013

1. Dial-a-Ride Buses ? RFB No. 14-0008

Scope of Bid

Provide Dial-A-Ride para-transit buses to be used by the METRA Department of

Transportation. The buses will be 26-foot low floor medium duty buses and clean

diesel. The buses will be used by METRA to provide ADA Complementary

Paratransit Service to eligible persons with disabilities who are, because of

their disability, unable to board, ride or disembark from an accessible vehicle

in METRA's regular bus service. Service is provided with special lift-equipped

buses on a curb-to-curb, shared ride basis. Two (2) units, current production

model shall be purchased in FY14 (July 1, 2013-June 30, 2014). The vehicles

are replacement units. Additional units will be purchased as needed.



September 27, 2013

1. Redevelopment Plan for Claflin School ? RFP No. 14-0002

Scope of RFP

The City of Columbus is requesting proposals from experienced, creative

architects, building and real estate development firms OR a philanthropic

individual or nonprofit group to present a redevelopment plan for adaptive

reuse of the Claflin School building that will be consistent with applicable

deed restrictions and preserve the historic site.



October 2, 2013

1. River Walk ? 13th to 14th Street

Scope of Bid

The work primarily involves clearing, grading, installing a MSBW along

riverbank, installing drainage pipe and structures, constructing concrete

sidewalk, brick pavers, steel railing, planting various landscaping items, and

installation of an irrigation system.
