An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 6145 and 6157 Crystal Drive from SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2)
Zoning District to RMF2 (Residential Multifamily 2) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the
same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property of the following
described property from SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2) Zoning District to
RMF2 (Residential Multifamily 2) Zoning District:
All those lots, tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being in Land Lot
38, 9th District, Muscogee County, Georgia. being known as ALL OF LOT
TWENTY-THREE (23) and LOT TWENTY-FOUR (24), of Crystal Valley Subdivision as
more particularly shown on that certain subdivision plat recorded in Deed Book
52, Page 357, of the records in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court, and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron stake in the northerly line of Crystal Drive at the
Southwest corner of Lot 22, Crystal Valley Subdivision; running thence in a
northerly direction, along the line dividing Lots 22 and 23, said subdivision,
a distance of 348.9 feet to an iron stake; running thence in a westerly
direction, along the line dividing Lots 23 and 24 from Lots 12 and 11, said
subdivision, a distance of 256.0 feet to an iron stake; running thence
Southerly, along the line dividing Lots 24 and 25, said subdivision, a distance
of 411 feet to an iron stake in the Northerly line of Crystal Drive; running
thence Easterly, along the northerly line of Crystal Drive, a distance of 310
feet to the point of beginning.
And
Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and being known and designated as all of
LOT NUMBERED TWENTY-FIVE (25), CRYSTAL VALLEY, as said lot is shown up a map or
plat of said Subdivision recorded in Deed Book 52, Folio 357, and as upon a
plat in Plat Book 50, Folio 97, in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of
Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin on the Northwesterly line of Crystal Drive, said iron
pin being located at the point where the line dividing Lot 25 from Lot 26, said
Subdivision, intersects said Northwesterly line of Crystal Drive, and from said
beginning point running thence North 01 degree l3 minutes West along said
dividing line between Lots 25 and 26, 441.8 feet to an iron pin; running thence
North 49 degrees 55 minutes East along the dividing line between said Lot 25
and Lot 10, said Subdivision, 130.14 feet to an iron pin; running thence South
02 degrees 52 minutes East along the dividing line between said Lot 25 and Lot
24, said Subdivision, 403 feet (this distance being given as 411.0 feet on the
plat found at Deed Book 52, Folio 357) to an iron pin located on the
Northwesterly line of Crystal Drive, said iron lying at the intersection of
said dividing line between Lots 24 and 25, said Subdivision, and said
Northwesterly line of Crystal Drive; running thence South 42 degrees' 00
minutes West, along the Northwesterly line of Crystal Drive, 165 feet to the
point of beginning.

held on the 10th day of April, 2012; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the day of 2012, and adopted at said
meeting by the affirmative vote of ____ members of said Council.
