An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 2121 Floyd Road (Parcel #096-022-015A) from NC (Neighborhood

Commercial) to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department is hereby

amended by changing the aforementioned property from NC (Neighborhood

Commercial) to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District:



Parcel One:



To find the true Point of Beginning of the parcel of land to be herein

conveyed, commence at a point at the intersection formed where the West line of

Floyd Road intersects with the southwest line of Forest Road, as shown on the

hereinafter mentioned plat, and running thence south 04 degrees 32 minutes East

a distance of 160.0 feet to the Point of Beginning of the parcel of land to be

herein described; continuing thence south 04 degrees 32 minutes East a distance

of 5.78 feet to an iron pin; running thence in a southerly direction along the

West right-of-way line of Floyd Road along the arc of a curve to the right with

a radius of 2,796.32 feet a distance of 114.22 feet to an iron pin; running

thence North 89 degrees 48 minutes West a distance of 200.0 feet to an iron

pin; running thence North 800 degrees 12 minutes East a distance of 154.20 feet

to an iron pin; running thence South 89 degrees 48 minutes East a distance of

39.58 feet to an iron pin; running thence South 77 degrees 06 minutes East a

distance or 156.68 feet to the true Point of Beginning of the parcel of land

herein described. Said property is shown and designated as ?Lot 1? on a survey

prepared by A. B. Moon, Jr., Georgia Registered Land Surveyor, dated August 22,

1979, a copy of which is attached to and recorded with a Warranty Deed dated

February 18, 1980, from M. I. Real Estate Acquisitions GmbH and Co. KG, a West

German Corporation to Dr. John Buehring, Dr. Franz Haverland and Hannelore

Haverland, George Hollmann and Klaus Schuppert and Anneliese Schuppert, and

recorded in Deed Book 1919 at Folio 43, in the Office of the Clerk of the

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

LESS AND EXCEPT all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 10

of the 9th Land District of Muscogee County, Georgia, being more particularly

described as follows:

Beginning at a point 45.00 feet right of and opposite Station 51 + 99.81 on the

construction centerline laid out for Floyd road; thence S 76 degrees 55 minutes

and 21.568 seconds E a distance of 6.19 feet to a point 39.07 feet right of and

opposite Station 52 + 01.60 on said construction centerline laid out for Floyd

Road; thence S 4 degrees 13 minutes and 38.237 seconds E a distance of 5.78

feet to a point 38.99 feet right of and opposite station 52 + 07.43 on said

construction centerline laid out for Floyd Road; thence southerly 114.72 feet

along the arc of a curve (said curve having a radius of 2785.46 feet and a

chord distance of 114.71 feet on a bearing of S 3 degrees, 02 minutes and 51

seconds E) to the point 38.07 feet right of and opposite station 53 + 23.22 on

said construction centerline laid out for Floyd Road; thence N 89 degrees, 26

minutes and 11.570 seconds W a distance of 6.94 feet to a point 45.00 feet

right of and opposite Station 53 + 22.94 on said construction centerline laid

out for Floyd Road; thence northerly 121.78 feet along the arc of a curve (said

curve having a radius of 4087.67 feet and a chord distance of 121.78 feet on a

bearing of N 2 degrees, 38 minutes and 36 seconds W) to the point of

beginning. Containing 0.02 acres more or less.
