An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 4400 South Stadium Drive from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning
District to RO (Residential Office) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the
same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property from NC
(Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to RO (Residential Office) Zoning
District:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in land lot 2 of
the 8th District and land lot 2 of the 9th District of Muscogee County, Georgia
and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin
which marks the southwest intersection of Schomburg Road and South Stadium
Drive thence running south 02 degrees 14 minutes 38 seconds west a distance of
143.55 feet to an iron pin; thence running south 79 degrees 23 minutes 36
seconds west a distance of 1,033.19 feet to an iron pin; thence running north 9
degrees 43 minutes north a distance of 345.88 feet to an iron pin; thence
running east 89 degrees 34 minutes 10 seconds east a distance of 962.58 feet to
an iron pin and the original point of beginning.
The above-described property is being rezoned subject to the following
condition:
1. Allow for a reduction of the rear property buffer from 40 ft. to 25 ft.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia
held on the 10th day of June, 2014; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the _ day of ___________, 2014 and adopted at
