A Resolution authorizing use of the procedure established at O.C.G.A. Section
42-8-34.2 in the Recorder?s Court of Columbus, Georgia; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, O.C.G.A. Section 42-8-34.2 authorizes collection of delinquent fines,
costs, or restitution through affidavit by probation officer and issuance of
writ of fieri facias by the sentencing court;
WHEREAS, this Council desires that the Recorder?s Court utilize this statutory
procedure in addition to all other remedies provided by law for collection of
delinquent fines, costs or restitution.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby authorize the judges of the Recorder?s Court of Columbus, Georgia to
utilize the statutory procedure for collection of delinquent fines, costs or
restitution established in O.C.G.A. Section 42-8-34.2. This statutory
procedure shall be used in addition to all other remedies provided by law for
collection of delinquent fines, costs or restitution.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
13th day of March, 2012, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
