An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 1242 6th Avenue from LMI (Light Manufacturing Industrial) zoning
district to UPT (Uptown) zoning district.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the
same is hereby amended by changing the following described property from LMI
(Light Manufacturing Industrial) zoning district to UPT (Uptown) zoning
district:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being Part of Block
21, Commons, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and being more particularly
described as follows:
Commence at an iron pin located at the southeast corner of the intersection of
the right of way line of Sixth Avenue and the right of way line of Thirteen
Street, which iron pin marks the POINT OF BEGINNING; running thence South 90
degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 108.00 feet to an iron pin;
running thence South 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 100.31
feet to an iron pin; running thence North 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West
a distance of 108.00 feet to an iron pin located on the easterly margin of
Sixth Avenue; running thence along said easterly margin of Sixth Avenue North
00 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds East a distance of 100.31 feet to an iron pin
which marks the POINT OF BEGINNING of the property herein described. Said lot,
tract or parcel is also shown on that certain map or plat entitled "Survey of
Part of Block 21, COMMONS, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia," dated November
13, 2007, prepared by Hobbs, Smith & Associates, Inc., and recorded in Plat
Book 161, Page 54, in the office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee
County, Georgia.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia
held on the 15th day of June, 2010; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the day of _ , 2010 and adopted
at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
