I. FY2012 GRANT APPLICATION FOR GDOT/FTA 5303 PLANNING ASSISTANCE, AND FTA 5309
DISCRETIONARY CAPITAL:
Authorization is requested to submit applications and, if approved, accept
funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Georgia
Department of Transportation (GDOT) for $1,998,191, or the approved amount, in
capital and planning grants. An agenda report and three (3) resolutions are

II. 2011 JUSTICE AND MENTAL HEALTH COLLABORATION PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved, accept
$199,088 from the Bureau of Justice Administration, Justice and Mental Health
Collaboration Program and if approved authorize the Muscogee County Mental
Health Court to enter into a contract with the New Horizons Community Service
Board to provide transitional services for participants in the Mental Health

III. FISCAL YEAR 2010 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,
accept a grant in the amount of $266,480, or the approved amount, from the
Georgia Emergency Management Agency for the Department of Homeland Security
Fiscal Year 2010 Homeland Security Grant Program/State Homeland Security
Program for Explosive Device Response Operations for the Columbus, Georgia
Office of Homeland Security. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

The work shall consist of widening Moon Road from US 80 to US 27. The
contractor shall be required to maintain public access to all residences
located within the project area and maintain normal traffic.
2. Tables and Carts for Ice Rink ? RFB No. 11-0035
Scope of Bid
Provide Palmer Snyder Classic Series Lightweight Plastic Tables, B3096-SW,
B1872-SH, B60RD-SW, B72RD-SW and B36RD-SKADJ (or equivalent), and Palmer Snyder
HD-RTC, HD-BTC96 and HD-CCT36 carts (or equivalent) for use at the Columbus Ice
Rink.

Scope of Bid
Provide, repair and maintain five (5) color photocopiers; one (1) for
Planning Department; two (2) for the Print Shop and two (2) for Geographic
Information System (GIS) located in the Government Center Annex. The contract

Provide Parks & Recreation with various required in-service training for the

Provide contractor services for the lead-based paint abatement for housing
