area. The developer will need an approved drainage plan prior to issuance of a

Traffic Impact: This rezoning request does not anticipate generating a negative impact

on the transportation network.

This site shall meet the Codes and regulations of the Columbus Consolidated

Government for commercial usage. Commercial driveways must meet criteria set

forth by Traffic Engineering section 8.8.13.

School Impact The School District does not anticipate having any impact on the

neighboring schools since it is a personal care home.



The schools of assignment for this address are: Lonnie Jackson Academy (K ? 5),

Rothschild Middle School (6 ? 8) and Kendrick High School (9 ? 12).



Buffer Requiremnts

The site shall include a Category A buffer along all property lines bordered by

the GC zoning districts. The 3 options under Category A are:

1) 5 feet with a certain amount of shrubs / ornamental grasses per 100 linear

feet and a wood fence or masonry wall.

2) 10 feet with a certain amount of shrubs / ornamental grasses per 100 linear

feet.

3) 20 feet undisturbed natural buffer.



Attitude of Property Owners: Thirty (30) property owners within 300 feet of the subject

properties were notified of the rezoning request. The Planning Department has

not received any comments in regards to this case.



Additional Information: The purpose of this rezoning request is to operate a Personal Care

Home, Type I, provided for not more than 6 residents. No other Personal Care

Home, Type I, are located within 1,000 ft of this location as specified on

section 3.2.50.E of the UDO.
