WHEREAS, Mr. Henry J. Ackerman, Lieutenant with the Columbus Police Department
Field Operations retired on August 1, 2009;
WHEREAS, Mr. Ackerman has been with the Columbus Police Department since
December 28, 1974.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MR. HENRY J. ACKERMAN
who has served with the Columbus Police Department for over 34 years. We wish
him happiness and contentment in his retirement.

retired on August 1, 2009;
WHEREAS, Mr. Cobb has been with the Public Services Department since October
27, 1986.
