AN ORDINANCE
NO.
An ordinance amending the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) for Columbus,
Georgia so as to amend Section 4.2.16 Conversion of Residential Accessory
Structure of the Unified Development Ordinance of the Columbus Codes so as to
amend subsection B as it relates to minimum standards for residential
conversions of accessory structures.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 4 of the Unified Development Ordinance is hereby amended by amending
Section 4.2.16.B by amending subsections 1 and 2 and deleting subsections 3, 4,
5, and 6 to read as follows:
B. Minimum Standards for Accessory Dwelling Conversions.
1. Structures that are converted shall remain at or below current square
footage, including enclosed garages, porches, or similar structures.
2. Property Development Regulations. The dwelling unit shall comply with all
property development regulations of the zoning district.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
