Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept

$32,555 in funds from the Corporation for National and Community Service for

II. PROPERTY DISPOSITION - 2766 CORA DRIVE:



Authorization is requested to declare 0.4 +/- acres located at 2766

Cora Drive as surplus and authorize to advertise and sell said property. An

III. PROPERTY ACQUISITION - 3411 17TH AVENUE:



Authorization is requested to purchase 3411 17th Avenue for a Storm

Sewer Replacement Project in the 17th Avenue area in order to repair a storm

IV. UNITED STATES ARMY CHILD AND YOUTH SERVICES STRONG (ASPYN) GRANT:



Authorization is requested to accept a grant for $272,250 and any additional

funds awarded this fiscal year from the United States Army Child and Youth

Services (CYS) Strong (ASPYN) Program. An agenda report and resolution are

V. BOARD OF HISTORIC AND ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW (BHAR) UPDATED DESIGN GUIDELINES:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of Updated Design

Guidelines as adopted by the Board of Historic and Architectural Review. An

VI. STREET ACCEPTANCE - THAT PORTION OF ANTIETAM DRIVE LOCATED IN

Authorization is requested to accept a deed to that portion of

Antietam Drive located in Section Five, Lexington Hills. The Department of

Engineering has inspected this street and recommends the acceptance. An agenda

Authorization is requested to accept a deed to that portion of

Antietam Drive and that portion of Lexington Lake Drive located in Section

Eight, Lexington Hills. The Department of Engineering has inspected these

streets and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution

1. Storm Drain Rehabilitation ? Stimulus Rehab Contract II ? RFB No. 10-0052

Scope of Bid

The project consists of the following elements: The project consists of

performing cured-in-place storm sewer repairs as follows: approximately 150

feet of 12 inch diameter RCP pipe, 1,595 feet of 15 inch diameter RCP pipe, 440

feet of 18 inch diameter RCP pipe and 105 feet of 36 inch diameter RCP pipe,

and miscellaneous point repairs, camera inspection, and manhole adjustments.

The City will only consider bids from Pre-Qualified Contractors.



2. Lakebottom Park Walking Trail Improvements ? RFB No. 10-0043

Scope of Bid

Provide installation of park benches, trash receptacles, and concrete handicap

ramps. Additional work includes dumping, spreading and compacting M-10

screening material and replacing treated lumber used for trail edging.



All work shall be performed in accordance with the State of Georgia, Department

of Transportation ? Standard Specifications, Construction of Transportation

Systems, 2001 Edition or as Amended and in accordance with the contract

documents.

1. Right-of-Way Bridge Fa?ade & Landscape Enhancement Project ?RFB No. 10-0055

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled at 11:00 AM (Eastern) on

Monday, April 19, 2010. Vendors shall convene in the Conference Room of the

Government Center Annex, which is located at 420 10th Street - Ground Floor,

Columbus, GA 31901. Vendors will be allowed a 10-minute grace period. Any

vendor who is not present within 10 minutes after the time slated for the

beginning of the mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit shall not be allowed

to participate any further in the bid process.

1. Retail Space for Park and Ride at the Warm Springs Road/Manchester

Expressway Locations (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 10-0011

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government seeks a retail/service business to occupy

space within the new (Rails-to-Trails) Park and Ride locations. The building,

which will have the same footprint and layout, are currently being constructed

at Manchester Expressway and Warm Springs Road (See attached site plan).

Successful respondents will provide a service or combination of services that

meet the needs of the City and surrounding market area. While the City would

prefer that the retail services be oriented around trail uses. Suggested

retail services could include but are not limited to; bike rental and retail,

convenience store (no gas sales), newsstand or other similar service.

Scope of Bid

The work primarily involves clearing, grubbing, planting various landscaping

items, installation of irrigation as well as fountain plaza and construction of

monument and bridge fa?ade. Bidders must be Georgia Department of

Transportation pre-qualified contractors.
