An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 3071 Williams Road from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) zoning

district to RO (Residential Office) zoning district.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is

hereby amended by changing the following described property from SFR1 (Single

Family Residential 1) zoning district to RO (Residential Office) zoning

district:



All that tract and parcel of land situated, lying and being in the State of

Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and lying in Land Lots 270 &

271, of the 19th District of said County, comprising 28.952 Acres, and being

more particularly described within the following metes and bounds, to-wit: To

arrive at the point of beginning, commence at the common corner of Land Lots

270, 271, 293 and 294 of the 19th District, and thence run north 88 degrees 19

minutes 57 seconds east, along the southern line of Land Lot 270, a distance of

73.51 feet to an iron pin which marks the point of beginning: thence from said

point of beginning running north 24 degrees 23 minutes 55 seconds west, along

the eastern right of way line of Norfolk-Southern Railroad, a distance of

134.81 feet to an iron pin; thence continuing northwesterly and northeasterly,

along the curving eastern line of the right of way of Norfolk-Southern Railroad

(said curving eastern line having a radius of 1382.70 feet, and being subtended

by a chord bearing north 05 degrees 23 minutes 01 seconds west and a length of

901.0 feet) an arc distance of 917.75 feet to an iron pin; thence continuing

north 13 degrees 37 minutes 52 seconds east, along the eastern line of Norfolk

Southern Railroad, a distance 274.91 feet to an iron pin; thence running north

76 degrees 22 minutes 08 seconds west, along the right of way of Norfolk

Southern Railroad, a distance of 25 feet to an iron pin; thence running north

88 degrees 01 minutes 58 seconds east a distance of 648.69 feet to an iron pin;

thence running south 01 degrees 40 minutes 03 seconds east a distance of 1640

feet to an iron pin; and thence running south 88degrees 19 minutes 57 seconds

west along the southern line of land lot 270 a distance of 680 feet to the iron

pin which marks the point of beginning. Aid tract is shown upon a survey

thereof, dated March 21, 2001, made by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, Inc. which

is recorded in Plat Book 143, page 89, in the office of the Clerk of the

Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

9th day of November, 2010; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
