The Taxicab Commission has been unable to hold a meeting for the past two
months due to the lack of a quorum.
The Commission has been able to meet only once this year and just recently
Ms. Diane Quick has informed me that she will be submitting her resignation
from the board. Thus that will leave only four active members; with us having
five vacancies. In order for the board to have a meeting there must be at least
five members present.
I have spoken with Lt. Ross regarding this matter and he has indicated that
he will be forthcoming with some possible alternatives with respect to the
Taxicab Commission.
As you know, I have had the vacancies for this board listed on my agenda
for several months now, but there have not been any nominations made. I have
attached a list of the current status of the members on this board.
Please advise if there are any questions.
