O R D I N A N C E S:



(1) 2nd Reading - Rezoning property located at 3803 Macon Road is proposed for

rezoning from RO (Residential-Office) District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial)

District. (71-A-06-Woodruff Brokerage Company) (Councilor McDaniel) (The

Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommends approval)



(2) 2nd Reading - Rezoning property located at 1400 17th Street is proposed for

rezoning from GC (General Commercial) District to RO (Residential Office)

District. (72-CA-06-Bussey) (Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning Advisory

Commission recommend approval and the Planning Division recommend conditional

approval)



(3) 2nd Reading - An ordinance amending the budgets for the Fiscal Year 2006

beginning July 1, 2005 and ending June 30, 2006, for certain funds of the

Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, appropriating amounts shown in

each fund for personnel actions and various other activities. (Budget Review

Committee)



(4) 2nd Reading - An ordinance amending the budgets for the fiscal year 2007

beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007, for certain funds of the

Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, appropriating from fund balances

amounts shown in each fund for purchases and activities continued from the 2006

fiscal year, and for other purposes. (Budget Review Committee)



(4) 2nd Reading ? An Ordinance of Columbus, Georgia, providing for the

issuance of $40,000,000 in principal amount of Water and Sewerage Revenue

Bonds, Series 2007; and for other purposes. (Councilor Rodgers)



(5) 1st Reading ? A text amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance to

readopt or delete Section 6.4.6 Expiration and Renewal. The section states

that the provisions of Article 6 shall expire effective January 1, 2007. The

Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommends approval.

R E S O L U T I O N S:



(7) Commending and congratulating Charlie Sparks, a freshman at Columbus High

School, upon recently won the GHSA Class AAA Cross-Country Championship.

(8) Commending and congratulating the Columbus High School Lady Blue Devils

Volleyball Team upon their 4th-place finish in the Class AAA Tournament.

(9) Expressing appreciation for the service of Mayor Pro-Tem and Councilor John

J. ?Jack? Rodgers upon his retirement. (Columbus Council)



(10) Expressing appreciation for the service of Councilor

Nathan Suber upon his retirement. (Columbus Council)



(11) Authorizing funds for infrasrtucture improvements at Baker Village; The

Housing Authority of Columbus, Georgia (HACG) has determined that it will

pursue the revitalization of Baker Village, a 65-year old low income housing

community of 590 units located at 1440 Fort Benning Drive, Columbus, Georgia

and that said revitalization is important to the overall economic redevelopment

of the neighborhoods in South Columbus. (Councilor Hunter)
