SUBJECT: Street Acceptance - Lallarook Drive, that portion of Frank

Houser Avenue, that portion of Showtime Drive and that portion of Confetti

Blush Drive located in Old Town Mixed Use Community - Replat of lot 4A.

Recommendation: Approval is requested for the acceptance of a deed to

Lallarook Drive, that portion of Frank Houser Avenue, that portion of Showtime

Drive and that portion of Confetti Blush Drive located in Old Town Mixed Use

Community - Replat of lot 4A.



Background: Lallarook Drive, that portion of Frank Houser Avenue, that portion

of Showtime Drive and that portion of Confetti Blush Drive located in Old Town

Mixed Use Community - Replat of lot 4A is a Planned Unit Development (PUD).

This Section has Nineteen (19) residential lots. The streets have been improved

and meet the required specifications for acceptance by the City.



Analysis: A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying Lallarook Drive, that

portion of Frank Houser Avenue, that portion of Showtime Drive and that portion

of Confetti Blush Drive located in Old Town Mixed Use Community - Replat of lot

4A. A description of property is as follows: All those tracts and parcels of

land situate, lying and being in the State of Georgia, County of Muscogee and

City of Columbus, in Land Lots 270 and 294, 19th District, Muscogee County,

Georgia identified as "Frank Houser Avenue, Confetti Blush Drive, Lallarook

Drive, and Showtime Drive " on the Plat titled "Replat of Parcel 4A for Old

Town Mixed Use Community" Part of Land Lots 263, 269, 270, 294, and 295 19th

Land District Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia dated November 14, 2014" by

Harris Gray LLC, West Point, Georgia, recorded in Plat Book 164, Page 198,

Muscogee County, Georgia records.



Financial Considerations: No City funds are involved until maintenance is

assumed after the two-year warranty.



Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement: No City funds are involved until

maintenance is assumed after the two-year warranty.



Legal Considerations: In Accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code, all

dedicated right-of-way must be accepted by Council.



Recommendations/ Actions: Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to Lallarook

Drive, that portion of Frank Houser Avenue, that portion of Showtime Drive and

that portion of Confetti Blush Drive located in Old Town Mixed Use Community -

Replat of lot 4A.























A RESOLUTION



NO. _____

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO LALLAROOK DRIVE,

THAT PORTION OF FRANK HOUSER AVENUE, THAT PORTION OF SHOWTIME DRIVE AND THAT

PORTION OF CONFETTI BLUSH DRIVE LOCATED IN OLD TOWN MIXED USE COMMUNITY -

REPLAT OF 4A ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA.

WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying Lallarook Drive,

that portion of Frank Houser Avenue, that portion of Showtime Drive and that

portion of Confetti Blush Drive located in Old Town Mixed Use Community -

Replat of 4A, a full description of property on said deed; and,

WHEREAS, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications

for acceptance by the City; and,

WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends

acceptance of same.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That certain deed dated December 31, 2014, conveying Columbus, Georgia

Lallarook Drive, that portion of Frank Houser Avenue, that portion of Showtime

Drive and that portion of Confetti Blush Drive located in Old Town Mixed Use

Community - Replat of 4A and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of Council

is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the Deed Records in the

Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy of the deed is

hereto attached an by this reference made a part of this resolution.
