I. FY08 PUBLIC DEFENDER CONTRACT:
Authorization is requested to enter into an agreement with the Circuit Public
Defender Office of the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit for Indigent Defense
Services in the amount of $1,221,831 from July 2007 to June 2008. An agenda

II. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) -- MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT:
Authorization is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding
with the Muscogee County School District as outlined on the attached
agreement. The combined MOU/Resolution is attached. click tab for

III. EDWARD BRYNE JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT:
Approval is requested to submit an application and if approved accept an Edward
Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance grant for the federal Fiscal Year 2007 in the
amount of $121,012, or as awarded. An agenda report and resolution are
attached.

IV. STREET ACCEPTANCE ? HONEYSUCKLE DRIVE, HONEYSUCKLE COURT AND MORNING DEW
DRIVE:
Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Honeysuckle Drive, Honeysuckle
Court and a portion of Morning Dew Drive, located in Section One Eagle Pointe
II. The Department of Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends
the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached. click tab

There will be a pre-council briefing Tuesday, at 8:15 a.m. in the Council

1. Construction Management Services for Repairs to the Historic Train Depot ?

Scope of RFP
The Columbus Consolidated Government (hereafter known as Owner) is soliciting
competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms experienced in Construction
Management Services for building repairs. The building in need of repairs is
known as the Train Depot and is located at 1200 Six-Avenue. The Depot will be
repaired as closely as possible with the RFP?s narrative. The Owner has
allocated a project budget range of $400,000.00 to $500,000.00.

2. Ball Field Soil Conditioner (Re-Bid) (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 07-0083
Scope of Bid
The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia (the City) Parks and
Recreation Division is seeking vendors to provide ball field soil conditioner.
This product is used to get the ball field ready for play after it has rained.
The contract period shall be for two (2) years, with the option to renew for
three (3) additional twelve-month periods.

Scope of Bid
Contractor pays a fee to the City for the removal of used oil &
antifreeze from Public Services Fleet Maintenance at the following two
locations: 1011 Cusseta Road and 3950 Schatulga Road, Columbus, Georgia. The
initial term of this contract shall be for three years, with the option to
renew for two additional twelve-month periods.

1. Right-of-Way Digital Imaging and Extraction of Pavement Condition Data ?
RFP No. 07-0006
Scope of RFP
Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is requesting proposals from
qualified firms, with proven experience, to collect ground-level right-of-way
digital images of the roadway network. The images shall be used to update the
pavement condition ratings stored in the City?s proprietary pavement management
system. Under the terms of this RFP, the successful respondent is to work with
the City?s pavement management consultant to deliver the pavement condition
ratings in the required data import format.
2. Maintenance Services for Security Surveillance System (Annual Contract) ?
RFP No. 07-0023
Scope of RFP
It is the intent of Columbus Consolidated Government to enter into a
contractual agreement with a qualified contractor offering maintenance services
for Security Surveillance System. Contract term shall be for two years, with
the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods. The
contract renewal will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and
the Contractor.
