I. CIVIC CENTER DIRECTOR:



Approval is requested for the appointment of Mr. Jon A. Dorman as the

Civic Center Director. A resolution and resume are attached.





II. TRAIL SYSTEM NAME AND BRAND DESIGNATION:



Approval is requested to adopt the name and brand for the trail system

as Dragonfly Trails, Columbus GA.





III. FY 2018 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:



Approval is requested to approve the FY2018 Holiday Schedule designating

Tuesday, December 26, 2017 as the floating holiday.





IV. PROPERTY DISPOSITION - 601, 605, 607, 609, 611 VETERANS PARKWAY AND 309 AND

315 6TH STREET:



Approval is requested to declare vacant property at 601, 605, 607, 609, 611

Veterans Parkway, and 309 and 316 6th Street, as surplus and authorize the

disposition of .608 acres +/- in Columbus, Muscogee County Georgia and execute

all contracts agreements and understandings related to the conveyance of City

property.





V. PROPERTY ACQUISITION - 1490 CUSSETA ROAD:



Approval is requested to acquire 1490 Cusseta Road in the amount of $140,000,

plus closing costs, in an effort to consolidate the Parks and Recreation Park

Services Division into one location.





VI. FIRE/EMS - MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT:



Approval is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with Columbus

Technical College to allow Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic Students

to ride on City ambulances for clinical experience.

Scope of Bid

Provide radar recertification services for the 451 radars and 5 speed lasers

currently installed in the Columbus Consolidated Government Public Safety

Department Fleet. The contract period will be for one (2) years with the

option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods
