COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 10, 2006
TO THE MAYOR & CITY MANAGER:
TRAFFIC CONGESTION @ 13TH STREET & WILDWOOD AVENUE:
Have the staff to check the traffic congestion that occurs at 13th Street
and Wildwood Avenue because of parked vehicles at Wynnton Elementary School
that are blocking the traffic in the afternoons around 2:45 p.m. (Request of
Councilor Suber)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
POLICE PURSUIT VEHICLES:
Have the staff to revisit the bid for the Ford Crown Victoria Pursuit
Vehicles, because the Impala by Chevrolet is a larger vehicle and should be
explored to see if it meets the necessary specifications. (Request of
Councilor McDaniel)
Also, check with the Police Chief to see if there are any law enforcement
officers that have situations where the vehicle is too small for them because
of their height or similar issues of concern. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

CITY ROAD REPAIRS:
Have the staff to determine whose responsibility it is to fix the roads
that are being damaged by construction traffic entering onto the major arterial
roads. (Request of Councilor Davis)
